From the Chairman

“What is the Corpus Christi Education Foundation?” Simply, we are a non-profit organization with the sole purpose of soliciting contributions and sponsorships that fund projects and programs to enrich the potential of students in the Corpus Christi Independent School District (CCISD).

Our school district has a vision to be a world class school system where every student is a learner, every learner is a graduate, and every graduate is a success. High expectations have been set for the staff, faculty, and the students. As the goals are achieved, CCISD raises the bar to become a world class school system. The Corpus Christi Education Foundation (CCEF) provides the financial assistance necessary when resources to support that vision are unavailable through district funding.

More than half a million dollars have been raised over the last three years for projects that bring innovation into our classrooms, creating opportunities to promote a culture of college readiness and to recognize the achievements of our students and educators.

Our youth are our future. We all want them to have the best education and the best opportunities possible to be successful, and it can happen through CCISD becoming a world class school system … through the support of our community.

I invite you to become a Partner for World Class Schools with the Corpus Christi Education Foundation, and help support the Corpus Christi Independent School District and its students and teachers. Let’s encourage, support and create opportunities for our students and build the future of Corpus Christi together.

Your city. Your students. Your support. … Our future.

Respectfully,

Andy Crocker
