Valero Bill Greehey Refineries donated $8,500 to the CCEF this morning to fund customized iPad technology that will allow some of our CCISD special education students to advance in learning this school year. This technology will aid students who are vision and hearing impaired, as well as those who are challenged physically, or with conditions including autism and speech impairments. Interactive, mobile programs and apps respond to touch, sound and vibrations, and use imagery to teach both core curriculum and social skills in the classroom for students who have a difficult time focusing on printed text.
THANK YOU, VALERO for this generous contribution, and all your past contributions that support CCISD student most in need of support to reach their full potential for learning. More information to come when this program is implemented at CCISD campuses this year.
